Ratings of Turkish TV

Tuesday’s ratings introduced Turkish viewers to the new series “Love, Marriage, Divorce (Aşk Evlilik Boşanma),” which premiered modestly in both categories. However, the initial numbers are not decisive for the show’s fate; its trajectory will be determined by subsequent dynamics.

The series “Bahar” saw a slight decline of 0.04% in Total and 0.18% in AB. The show remains one of the most popular on Turkish television, despite having lost some momentum compared to its first season—a natural development that does not raise significant concerns about its future.

The series “The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masalı)” experienced an increase of 0.73% in Total and 0.07% in AB. Despite relatively low AB ratings, the series continues to attract a general audience, ensuring it will likely complete its season without major difficulties, even if it does not become a ratings’ juggernaut. Additionally, such traditional storylines often perform well in international markets, where they are highly valued.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” saw a decline of 0.46% in Total but gained 0.29% in AB. As a show on a state-owned channel, it boasts a solid foundation and maintains a strong presence on the air. If these ratings are sustained, a third season seems assured.
