Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” experienced a 0.31% increase in total ratings but lost 0.09% in AB. This show, produced by Faruk Turgut, remains one of the most in-demand series on Turkish television. For three seasons, it has consistently maintained high standards, a feat largely credited to the skilled screenwriter Melis Civelek, who has been steering the story from the beginning. Once again, we are reminded that the primary secret to any successful television project lies in an outstanding script.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” saw a 0.07% drop in total ratings and a more significant 1.20% decline in AB. Produced by Onur Güvenatam, the series continues to hold the interest of the general audience. However, its appeal among educated and affluent viewers is waning rapidly. Rumors about the show possibly concluding after the New Year appear increasingly plausible—if the AB decline persists at this rate, an early finale seems inevitable.

The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” gained 0.91% in total ratings and 0.12% in AB. Notably, Birsen Altuntaş had hinted at the possibility of two additional episodes if the ratings improved. Now that this has occurred, it’s likely the finale will be postponed from late December to early January, as initially promised.
