Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Boundless Love (Hudutsuz Sevda)” dropped by 0.73% in Total and 0.45% in AB. The show, produced by Fatih Aksoy, remains one of the most popular series among the general Turkish audience, although it fails to spark significant enthusiasm among educated and affluent viewers. Nevertheless, with such strong Total figures, its cancellation is highly unlikely.

The series “Secret of the Pearls (İnci Taneleri)” saw a decline of 0.57% in Total and 1.41% in AB. Despite a noticeable drop in AB, educated and affluent viewers continue to regard the show by producer and screenwriter Yılmaz Erdoğan favorably, ensuring its stability this season. However, given Mr. Erdoğan’s other commitments, it is unlikely that the series will be renewed for a third season.

The series “Valley of Hearts (Siyah Kalp)” lost 0.21% in Total and 0.55% in AB. The show, produced by Timur Savcı, continues to slowly but steadily lose its audience. The constant change of directors (four in just 12 episodes) further undermines confidence in the show’s future, making a winter finale increasingly likely.

The series “Holding” suffered a 0.75% drop in Total and 0.39% in AB. The decline in audience interest as early as the second episode does not bode well for the show. It is highly probable that news of its cancellation will surface in the coming days.
