Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” increased by 1.26% in total ratings and 0.21% in the AB demographic. In its third season, this show by producer Faruk Turgut continues to deliver excellent results in both categories, solidifying its status as a super hit and confidently looking toward the future. A fourth season seems highly likely.

The series “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” saw a slight rise of 0.10% in total ratings but suffered a 0.67% drop in the AB demographic. The minor growth in total viewership does little to offset the disappointment among the educated and affluent AB audience, which could spell trouble for producer Onur Güvenatam’s show. How long the series will remain on air is uncertain, but rumors of its cancellation are already circulating.

The series “Legend of the Black Tree (Kara Ağaç Destanı)” grew by 0.09% in total ratings but lost 0.09% in the AB demographic. The TRT1 channel is giving the creators an opportunity to conclude the show on a respectable note. As always, the channel’s managers prioritize their audience, and thanks to state funding, they can afford to do so.
