Ratings of Turkish TV

Sunday’s ratings brought Turkish viewers a new series, “Portrait of a Scandalous Family (Şakir Paşa Ailesi),” which made an impressive debut in both categories, leaving a strong impression on social media users who fervently discussed certain scenes. It seems the new show is poised to secure a prominent place in Turkish television.

The series “Intelligence (Teşkilat)” saw a 0.31% increase in Total ratings but experienced a 0.75% drop in the AB demographic. Now in its fifth season, producer Timur Savcı’s show continues to deliver outstanding results and remains one of the leading series on Turkish television. There is little doubt that TRT1 will renew it for a sixth season.

The series “Genius (Deha)” grew by 0.63% in Total ratings but slipped by 0.07% in AB. Despite fierce competition, producer Kerem Çatay’s show is holding its audience admirably, showing excellent results. The main challenge for the scriptwriters will be to maintain the high standard they have set for themselves throughout the season. If they succeed, the series may well be greenlit for a second season.
