A fire broke out at the filming location of the series “The Şakir Pasha Dynasty” in the Çavuşoğlu district of Kartal. The entire mansion, which served as the set for the series, was completely destroyed.

The fire began around 1:30 a.m., causing panic among local residents. Namık Kemal Street was temporarily closed off.

The series’ producer, Fatih Aksoy, stated that filming had ended at 6:30 p.m. and no one was present on the set at the time of the fire. “We were informed about the incident at 2:30 a.m. By the time we arrived, the set was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is still unknown and is being investigated by the fire department. We are awaiting the official report. This week’s episode will air as planned, but the next episode may be at risk,” he explained. The production team was notified the following morning that filming had been suspended.

Last week, representatives of the Şakir Pasha family claimed that the series was being filmed without their consent. A family member filed a lawsuit to halt its broadcast, but the court dismissed the claim.

The third episode of the series is still scheduled to air this week. The mansion destroyed by the fire will be rebuilt as quickly as possible to allow filming to continue.

Produced by MedYapım, “The Şakir Pasha Dynasty” has gained attention for its strong cast and compelling storyline. In the third episode, set to air on Sunday, Yiğit Yapıcı will join the cast. He will play Ahmet, the family’s son-in-law, who becomes a pivotal character in the story. Ahmet will also partner with Ayşe, played by Nilsu Berfin Aktaş, adding new dynamics to the unfolding events.
