Ratings for Saturday, December 28, 2024
The series “Mountain of Hearts (Gönül Dağı)” saw a decline of 0.73% in total ratings and 0.10% in AB ratings. Despite this dip, the state broadcaster’s show remains one of Turkey’s most popular series, boasting a devoted audience that has followed the storyline for five consecutive years. It is hardly surprising that a renewal for a sixth season is virtually guaranteed.
The series “Lie (Yalan)” concluded its run, dropping by 0.11% in total ratings and 0.12% in AB ratings. As the sole summer-season show, it held its ground fairly well through the fall and ended on a decent note in total ratings, even though the AB audience lost interest in the plot quite some time ago.
The series “Debt of Life (Can Borcu)” lost 0.51% in total ratings and 0.36% in AB ratings. Such a significant loss for the second episode almost certainly spells cancellation by the fourth episode. The next episode will be a decisive moment for the series.
The series “Wild Heart (Yabani)” experienced a 0.21% decline in total ratings but saw a 0.82% rise in AB ratings. The show is set to conclude in early January, leaving audiences with highly mixed feelings. On one hand, it has become one of the most commercially successful Turkish series internationally; on the other, Turkish viewers have long expressed disappointment with its storyline. Nevertheless, this hasn’t stopped producers from securing a substantial profit.
