Renowned theater figure Nedim Saban has made a statement regarding the accusations against ID İletişim and its co-founder Ayşe Barım:

“Livelihood is not in the mouth of the lion; it’s in the hands of Ayşe Barım! I try to explain to young people aspiring to enter the television industry what monopolization means, as much as my words can allow. I tell them that rejection should not be taken personally and that it has nothing to do with their talent or professional skills.

However, what concerns me even more is that Ayşe Barım’s circle has, in recent years, begun showing interest in theater as well. The art form they previously undervalued has suddenly become important, and ticket prices have soared sky-high. To protect my profession, I will reiterate here what I have openly said for years.”
