The TRT 1 channel has started filming the series “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul.” This project has been in preparation for a year. The plot is a modern adaptation of the legend of Köroğlu, with Cihangir Ceyhan and Alina Boz in the lead roles. The series promises to capture the atmosphere of the 1990s with its set design, music, and costumes.

Filming of the series “Soul’s Adventure,” starring Deniz Baysal, will soon begin. The plot is based on the biography of Ayşe Şasa, one of the first female screenwriters in Turkish cinema. The project will air on the TRT Tabii platform. Filming starts on February 15, directed by Osman Nail Doğan. The series will have 10 episodes and is produced by Harmony Yapım. New cast members have joined the project. Zafer Algöz will portray film critic Vecdi Sayar. Osman Alkaş will play Kemal Tahir. Nezaket Erden will take on the role of Serap, Ayşe Şasa’s friend, and Mustafa Açılan will play Kadir, her love interest. Negotiations are ongoing regarding the actors for Ayşe Şasa’s first husband, Atıf Yılmaz, and her second husband, Bülent Oran.
