Ratings for Tuesday, January 14, 2025
The series “Bahar” rose by 0.26% in Total but lost 0.17% in AB. The Show TV show is performing quite well in its second season, though it is no longer the undisputed leader of the time slot as it was in the first season. However, this is not particularly significant; with such stable ratings, the series could easily be renewed for a third season unless there is a sudden collapse in spring—a scenario that appears unlikely.
The series “The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masalı)” dropped by 0.46% in Total and 0.15% in AB. The ATV show is doing a decent job of retaining its Total audience but does not spark much enthusiasm in AB. That said, this is a familiar situation for the network, so it is unlikely that the low AB ratings will have any significant impact on the series’ future.
The series “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı)” lost 0.33% in Total and 0.32% in AB. The TRT1 public broadcaster’s show is delivering very solid results, though it is not a major hit. Nevertheless, for the channel’s management, stability is more important than high numbers, making the prospect of a third season increasingly likely.
The series “Don’t Cry, Istanbul (Sen Ağlama İstanbul)” dropped by 1.16% in Total and 0.35% in AB. The audience for producer Onur Güvenatam’s show has not yet fully settled, so such significant fluctuations are natural. Most likely, the series will remain on air until the end of this season. Renewal for a second season will depend on whether the screenwriters can engage Turkish viewers with the story over the long term.
