Ratings of Turkish TV
Tuesday’s ratings introduced Turkish audiences to the new series “The Fall of The King” (Kral Kaybederse), which made an impressive debut in both categories. This strong start is unsurprising given the presence of high-profile names in the cast. However, while stars can attract viewers, they cannot guarantee retention. The true performance of producer Onur Güvenatam’s show will be revealed next week when the audience decides whether the series is worth following.
The series “Bahar” saw a 0.58% increase in total ratings but lost 0.38% in AB. The MF Yapım production has maintained a stable audience over two seasons and is highly likely to be renewed for a third.
The series “The Nightfall” (Bir Gece Masalı) grew by 0.40% in total ratings but dropped 0.24% in AB. This ATV project remains an intriguing phenomenon—while it boasts a large and consistent audience, it struggles to attract educated and affluent viewers. Whether it will be renewed for a second season remains uncertain.
The series “Mehmed the Conqueror” (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı) increased by 0.15% in total ratings but lost 0.23% in AB. As a TRT1 production, it remains stable and enjoys well-earned viewer appreciation. Its renewal for a third season seems all but certain.
