Ratings of Turkish TV
The show “Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti)” rose by 0.48% in Total but lost 0.56% in AB. The show produced by Faruk Turgut remains one of the most sought-after series on Turkish television and shows no sign of relinquishing its lead. As the producer himself admitted, the ratings simply will not allow the series to be taken off the air, and a fourth season is a certainty.
The show “Golden Boy (Yalı Çapkını)” lost 0.21% in Total and 0.33% in AB. Producer Onur Güvenatam’s show loses viewers with each new episode, yet strong overseas sales may well see it reach the 100th episode, in keeping with the creator’s original plan.
The show “Zembilli” lost 0.35% in Total but grew by 0.03% in AB. For now, the outlook for this ATV show is precarious; it has failed to capture viewers in Turkey, and there is a strong likelihood it will conclude before the religious holidays.
The show “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul (Bir Zamanlar İstanbul)” grew by 0.58% in Total and 0.61% in AB. This slight increase in both categories is a positive sign for producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s upcoming show, though it remains unclear whether this signals a true upward trend. The ratings are still too low to draw any firm conclusions.
