Ratings of Turkish TV
The series “Distant City” (Uzak Şehir) increased by 1.29% in Total and 3.12% in AB. Producer Kerem Çatay’s project is delighting Turkish drama fans with numbers that have not been seen in Turkish ratings for a long time. This gives hope that Turkish series still have significant potential both domestically and internationally. The fact that the series has already been renewed for a second season comes as no surprise.
The series “Red Roses” (Kızıl Goncalar) grew by 0.39% in Total and 1.14% in AB. The affluent and educated audience continues to warmly support producer Faruk Turgut’s project. The numbers in Total are more modest, but this no longer matters, as the series is set to conclude at the end of the season.
The series “Salahaddin Ayyubi” (Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi) increased by 0.28% in Total but lost 0.21% in AB. Producer Emre Konuk’s project has fairly average yet stable ratings, making it likely that the state-owned channel will approve a second season.
