Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Orphans” (Sahipsizler) increased by 0.74% in Total and 0.16% in AB. Producer Onur Güvenatam’s project is showing solid growth, and interestingly, the affluent and educated audience has finally started to show some interest. Its renewal for a second season is now beyond doubt.

The series “The Ottoman” (Kuruluş Osman) lost 0.08% in Total and 1.09% in AB. Given that the historical drama’s audience, under producer Mehmet Bozdağ, is quite conservative, the drop in ratings during the Holy Month of Ramadan is understandable and not a cause for concern. As a reminder, the series has already been renewed for a seventh season.

The series “Leyla” (Leyla) lost 0.09% in Total but grew by 0.57% in AB. So far, all signs point to producer Kerem Çatay’s project concluding at the end of the season, though surprises are still possible.

The series “Scent of the Trunk” (Sandık Kokusu) remained steady in Total but lost 0.26% in AB. However, this is no longer relevant, as the O3 Medya production is set to conclude this month.

The series “My Mother Ankara” (Annem Ankara) lost 0.58% in Total and 0.87% in AB. The BKM production turned out to be a failure despite having a star-studded cast. The decision to cancel it will likely depend on international sales.
