Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet” (Kızılcık Şerbeti) lost 0.19% in Total and 0.83% in AB. This decline is not alarming, as producer Faruk Turgut’s project maintains a stable audience that continues to follow its intricate storyline—one that will only become more complex, as the series has already been renewed for a fourth season.

The series “Zembilli” (Zembilli) remained at the same position in Total but lost 0.56% in AB. ATV’s production is not meeting financial expectations, and there has been no news about international sales. This means that the show may be canceled after the holidays.

The series “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul” (Bir Zamanlar İstanbul) increased by 0.07% in Total and 0.46% in AB. Producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s project enjoys a privileged position, as it airs on a state-owned channel that does not cancel its series mid-run. However, the ratings remain disappointing, making a renewal for another season unlikely.

The series “Golden Boy” (Yalı Çapkını) lost 0.11% in Total and 0.15% in AB. Once one of the biggest hits on Turkish television, the show is now steadily losing its remaining audience as it approaches its finale. Unfortunately, this is a common occurrence in Turkish drama, where production companies tend to prolong a series until the very last viewer loses interest.
