Hande Erçel shared her thoughts on the global popularity of Turkish TV series in an interview with Marie Claire (Spain):
“We reflect elements of various cultures, being at the crossroads of East and West. Our stories have the power to evoke deep emotions and genuinely move people. Moreover, we have many talented actors who bring these stories to life with remarkable skill. Turkey is a country with a rich history and culture, and watching our series often inspires viewers to visit at least once.”

Major changes are expected in the series “Kuruluş: Osman,” which airs on Wednesdays on ATV and continues to maintain high ratings. Work is already underway on the seventh season of the Bozdağ Film production, known for consistently refreshing its storyline with new characters and captivating plots. This time, five cast members will be departing: Ekin Mert Daymaz (İlbey), Devrim Saltoglu (Ulugan), Ayça İnci (Esenbike Hatun), Ali Öner (Sargun), and Murat Göçmez (Altuğ), as their storylines have come to an end.

First stills have emerged from the new series by Yeni Yapım titled “Sürgünler” (“The Exiles”), starring Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler in the lead roles. The series is available on the digital platform Tabii.

Ulaş Tuna Astepe will play Kaan, Devrim Özkan as Nilüfer, and Büyüktopçu as Kamil. Onur gained fame for his role as Koray in “Love for Rent” and hasn’t appeared in major productions for nearly ten years. In this new series directed by Yusuf Pirhasan, he will portray a butler responsible for the royal suite, maintaining balance in the main couple’s relationship. To prepare for the role, the actor lost 16 kilograms.

She said that it’s a pleasure to work with them in shared scenes because of their high level of professionalism. After 2.5 years of working together on set, they have developed warm and trusting relationships. Each time filming begins, she looks into Afra and Mert’s eyes with admiration and respect.
