Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Intelligence” (Teşkilat) increased by 0.26% in Total and 1.39% in AB. The show is confidently moving toward its sixth season, with Tolga Sarıtaş set to continue in the lead role. It stands as a strong example that what matters most to the Turkish viewer is an engaging story and the right format. The cast undergoes periodic changes, but this has no impact on the popularity of producer Timur Savcı’s project.

The series “Portrait of a Scandalous Family” (Şakir Paşa Ailesi) lost 0.49% in Total and 0.98% in AB. While producer Fatih Aksoy is hoping for a second season renewal, the ratings have been increasingly disappointing. Only strong international sales might justify keeping the series on air.

The series “Genius” (Deha) increased by 0.02% in Total but lost 0.40% in AB. Producer Kerem Çatay’s project will make it to the end of the season, but with numbers like these, a second season is unlikely.

The series “Snowdrops” (Kardelenler) lost 0.83% in Total but grew by 0.10% in AB. Unfortunately, this is far from enough to secure the show’s survival. News of its cancellation may be announced soon.

The series “My Mother Ankara” (Annem Ankara) concluded with a modest finale, dropping 0.91% in Total and 1.90% in AB. Great expectations had been placed on this production, but they weren’t met. The story failed to engage viewers, and even a star-studded cast couldn’t save it.
