Journalist Birsen Altuntaş has reported that several new TV series are expected to premiere this summer. For comparison, only one summer project — “The Lie” — aired last year.
Eslem Akar will play the role of Ahu in the series “Double Room”. Filming will begin immediately after the holidays. The project is produced by Asena Bülbüloğlu, and the NOW channel plans to air it during the summer. The director will be Yusuf Pirhasan. Ahu is also the childhood friend of the main character, Nilüfer.

According to Birsen Altuntaş, there is still no definite decision on whether the series “Snowdrops” will end. Everything will depend on the ratings of the ninth episode — if they are low, the project will be cancelled. Channel ATV is giving the series one last chance.

Production company O3 Medya is preparing to release the film “Mr. Horror”, with filming starting on April 6. The film will be directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and written by Murat Menteş.
