Ratings of Turkish TV
The series “Distant City” (Uzak Şehir) rose by 1.67% in Total and 1.73% in AB, setting yet another ratings record for this season. This surge was partly due to the absence of “Red Roses” (Kızıl Goncalar) from the broadcast—its latest episode was pulled because the production ran out of sponsors. Still, this doesn’t change the fact that “Distant City” is currently the top hit in Turkey.
The series “Salahaddin Ayyubi” (Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi) increased by 0.22% in Total and 0.94% in AB. Producer Emre Konuk’s sgiw continues to deliver average results, but since it airs on a state channel, a renewal for a third season remains a possibility.
