Ratings of Turkish TV
The series “Orphans” (Sahipsizler) rose by 1.84% in Total and 0.91% in AB. While the educated and affluent audience remains lukewarm toward producer Onur Güvenatam’s show, general viewers enjoy it immensely. With such solid support, a second season renewal poses no difficulties.
The series “The Ottoman” (Kuruluş Osman) increased by 0.96% in Total and 1.32% in AB. Producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s historical drama has built a loyal following over six years. The show has already been renewed for a seventh season, with Burak Özçivit set to continue in the lead role as Sultan Osman.
The series “Eşref’s Dream” (Eşref Rüya) rose by 1.75% in Total and 2.05% in AB, also claiming the top spot in the ABC1 category. This growth is no surprise, given the massive viewership on YouTube. Producer Timur Savcı’s show is steadily winning over Turkish audiences. The key now is to maintain the script’s strong quality.
The series “Leyla” (Leyla) saw a modest rise of 0.23% in Total and 0.14% in AB. These numbers will allow producer Kerem Çatay’s show to reach the end of the season, but they’re likely not enough to justify a second one.
