Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “Cranberry Sherbet” (Kızılcık Şerbeti) rose by 0.34% in Total and 0.59% in AB. Producer Faruk Turgut’s show continues to dominate Friday prime time and remains one of Turkey’s most popular series. It has been officially renewed for a fourth season, which is expected to feature significant cast changes.

The series “Dangerous Ceylan” (Tehlikeli Ceylan) saw a strong increase of 2.47% in Total and 0.85% in AB. The new story immediately appealed to general audiences, while the educated and affluent viewership is still cautiously observing—though growing interest in that segment is a promising sign.

The series “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul” (Bir Zamanlar İstanbul) lost 0.17% in Total and 0.76% in AB. Unfortunately, producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s project has failed to win over Turkish viewers. However, airing on a state broadcaster will allow the series to finish its season without interruption, which is expected in about a month.
