Ratings of Turkish TV

The series Cranberry Sherbet (Kızılcık Şerbeti) rose by 0.10% in Total but dropped by 1.25% in AB. Despite the decline in the AB category, producer Faruk Turgut’s show continues to post strong numbers overall and is confidently heading into the next season. However, it remains uncertain which cast members will stay on for season four.

The series Dangerous Ceylan (Tehlikeli Ceylan) dropped by 1.19% in both Total and AB. The recent surge of interest in the show turned out to be short-lived. The situation is particularly concerning in the AB category, where the affluent and educated audience has not embraced the project. If numbers don’t stabilize soon, the ATV show might only reach the season finale—assuming advertisers stay on board.

The series Once Upon a Time in Istanbul (Bir Zamanlar İstanbul) gained 0.01% in Total and 1.16% in AB. The show by producer Mehmet Bozdağ is scheduled to conclude at episode 13, so the ratings are no longer critical, but it’s always satisfying to close a story on an upswing rather than a downturn.
