Ratings of Turkish TV

The series “The Fall of the King” (Kral Kaybederse) dropped by 0.52% in Total and 1.88% in AB. The decline was quite significant but caused by external factors – the Turkish Football Super League dominated the evening broadcast, and most viewers preferred to cheer for Galatasaray or Konyaspor rather than follow family drama. Ratings will likely return to normal next week.

The series “Bahar” lost 0.60% in Total and 1.42% in AB. Despite the steady decline in viewership, the project has been greenlit for a third season. However, that doesn’t guarantee it will remain on air next fall unless the writers find a way to keep viewers engaged.

The series “Mehmed the Conqueror” (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı) dropped by 1.89% in Total and 2.52% in AB. With its predominantly male audience, it’s not surprising that many tuned in to watch football instead. This won’t affect the show’s future—its continuation is secured.
