Ratings of Turkish TV

Ratings of Turkish TV

The show “Orphans” (“Sahipsizler”) dropped by 0.54% in Total and 0.57% in AB. Considering that Turkish audiences were hardly in the mood for TV yesterday—many spent the night outdoors fearing aftershocks (over 200 were recorded, some exceeding 4.0)—this decline appears modest and does not affect the show’s trajectory.

The show “Eşref’s Dream” (“Eşref Rüya”) rose by 0.28% in Total but lost 0.42% in AB. The wealthier and more educated AB audience primarily resides in the area most affected by the earthquake, making the AB drop understandable. Meanwhile, interest in the project by producer Timur Savcı increased in the Total category—a highly positive sign.

The show “The Ottoman” (“Kuruluş Osman”) gained 0.10% in Total and 0.62% in AB. Given the geographically diverse audience of this historical series by producer Mehmet Bozdağ, the increase is expected. The show enters the final stretch of its sixth season with strong, stable ratings.

The show “Leyla” (“Leyla”) slipped by 0.02% in Total but rose by 0.30% in AB. While the ratings for producer Kerem Çatay’s project remain modest, they are steady—meaning the series will likely complete its current season without issue.
