Ratings of Turkish TV
The show “Distant City” (“Uzak Şehir”) grew by 1.10% in Total and 2.27% in AB. As predicted last week, the slight decline in audience numbers was followed by a strong rebound. The core viewership for Kerem Çatay’s show continues to strengthen, and the series remains the most popular production on Turkish television this season.
The show “Red Roses” (“Kızıl Goncalar”) concluded its run, gaining 0.10% in Total but losing 0.12% in AB. Produced by Faruk Turgut, the show left a lasting impression, becoming one of the most notable series of the past two seasons and delivering outstanding performances, while introducing a new generation of talented young actors.
The show “Salahaddin Ayyubi” (“Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi”) lost 0.32% in Total but grew by 0.54% in AB. Even airing on the state channel could not save the production by Emre Konuk. TRT1 has officially announced that the series will end at the close of this season.
