Ratings of Turkish TV
The show “Orphans” (“Sahipsizler”) grew by 0.11% in Total but lost 0.43% in AB. This season has clearly revealed a split in the audience: while the general public gravitates toward certain shows, the educated and affluent viewers often prefer digital platforms. Nevertheless, this will not prevent Onur Güvenatam’s show from moving forward with a second season, as the Total rating is strong enough to support it.
The show “Eşref’s Dream” (“Eşref Rüya”) dropped by 0.05% in Total but rose by 0.88% in AB. The affluent and educated audience clearly prefers this show on Wednesdays, and the broader audience is also watching with interest—though they’re demanding more action, preferably involving the main character, reminiscent of what was seen in “Çukur.” Once Çağatay Ulusoy’s character plunges into a mafia war, the Total numbers are likely to rise. Even now, both the channel and producers are satisfied with the performance.
The show “The Ottoman” (“Kuruluş Osman”) grew by 0.48% in Total but lost 0.77% in AB. The return of the fan-favorite character Turgut Alp boosted interest in Mehmet Bozdağ’s historical drama. However, the AB audience still leaned toward mafia intrigue over battlefield drama.
The show “Leyla” increased by 0.42% in Total and by 0.13% in AB. While the current ratings are unlikely to secure a second season, Kerem Çatay’s project will reach the end of this season without issue.
