Ratings of Turkish TV
The show “Cranberry Sherbet” (“Kızılcık Şerbeti”) rose by 0.76% in Total and an impressive 2.47% in AB. The production by Faruk Turgut remains one of the most popular shows in Turkey. After a brief dip caused by the departure of a key character, interest in the story has surged once again. Screenwriter Melis Civelek has a proven talent for drawing viewers back in with compelling plot twists.
The show “Dangerous Ceylan” (“Sustalı Ceylan”) dropped by 0.41% in Total but gained 0.06% in AB. However, the change is no longer relevant—this show will conclude next week.
The show “Once Upon a Time in Istanbul” (“Bir Zamanlar İstanbul”) lost 0.25% in Total and 0.48% in AB. The production by Mehmet Bozdağ will air until the end of the season only because it is broadcast on a state channel. Unfortunately, this marks a clear misstep for a producer who excels in historical dramas but falls short when tackling modern-day narratives.
