Ratings of Turkish TV

Ratings of Turkish TV

The show “Orphans” (“Sahipsizler”) lost 1.29% in Total and 0.26% in AB. The drop is quite noticeable but expected—television ratings have long followed an unspoken rule: the better the weather, the fewer viewers in front of the screen. That’s why most prime-time shows go on hiatus during summer. This won’t affect the show’s future, as the second season has already been officially confirmed.

The show “Eşref’s Dream” (“Eşref Rüya”) dropped by 0.67% in Total and 0.97% in AB. Such fluctuations are normal early in a show’s run, especially when the audience is still finding its footing—also influenced by the seasonal drop in TV viewership. Despite the decline, the show maintained the top spot in the key advertising categories AB and ABC1, so fans have no reason to worry.

The show “The Ottoman” (“Kuruluş Osman”) gained 0.30% in Total and 0.52% in AB. Mehmet Bozdağ’s strategy of shaking up the historical narrative at the end of the season rather than the beginning has proven to be effective once again, reigniting viewer interest.

The show “Leyla” lost 0.82% in Total and 0.83% in AB. With only a short time left until the end of the season, all that remains is to await the official announcement of the finale.
