Ratings of Turkish TV

The show “Distant City (Uzak Şehir)” rose by 0.12% in total share and by 0.54% in the AB demographic. Producer Kerem Çatay’s show remains the most in-demand series in Turkey this season, and it’s no surprise that it has already received the green light for a second season. One can only hope that the writers will meet the challenge and deliver a second season that lives up to—or even exceeds—the first.

The show “Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (Salahaddin Ayyubi)” lost 0.51% in total share but grew by 0.30% in the AB demographic. TRT1’s show reached the end of its second season, yet, contrary to initial plans, it will not be renewed for a third. Undoubtedly, the decision was driven by the series’ sharply declining ratings.
