Ratings of Turkish TV

The show “The Fall of The King (Kral Kaybederse)” lost 0.29 % in total share and 0.69 % in the AB demographic. As the summer factor grows stronger, OGM Pictures’ show approaches its season finale with respectable numbers… but in Season 2 the creators will have to win Turkish hearts all over again, since viewers often change their loyalties.

The show “The Nightfall (Bir Gece Masalı)” slipped by 0.15 % in total share and 0.56 % in the AB demographic. Audience erosion continues for ATV’s series, and it is now clear there will be no second season. In fact, Episode 34 ended as though it were the series finale, even though earlier reports said a decision would be made in early June.

The show “Bahar” closed its season, shedding 0.27 % in total share and 0.25 % in the AB demographic. Heading into a third season with falling ratings, the new writing team will have to restart the story almost from scratch.

The show “Mehmed the Conqueror (Mehmed : Fetihler Sultanı)” dropped 0.15 % in total share but gained 0.29 % in the AB demographic. The state broadcaster has renewed the series for another season… its results are perfectly acceptable for a channel that is less dependent on sponsors and can keep medium-rated dramas on the air.
