Filming for the series “Heir” by Faro will start on Sunday. The project, which tells the story of the power struggle at the Esenler bus terminal and the fate of a car mechanic whose life suddenly changes, will premiere in early September. Duygu Sarışın has been cast as Şahika — the mayor of the village of Güzelköy in the new series on NOW channel. The project, prepared by NTC Medya under the direction of Mehmet Yiğit Alp, will be directed by Semih Badji. Şahika will be one of the main characters in the plot, and the role went to Duygu Sarışın, previously seen in “Red Buds”. Interestingly, the actress will portray the head of the municipality — while her father, Ahmet Sarışın, was the mayor of Konak district in Izmir for ten years.

A global commercial featuring Kubilay Aka for one of the brands has aired in Turkey. In the campaign, the actor appears as a Caribbean pirate, and the commercial is being shown worldwide.
