The show “Mehmed the Conqueror” (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı) had a rather average start in Total and performed somewhat better in AB. However, considering that the state channel is generally tolerant toward shows with average ratings, especially when they perform well in AB, the show’s position on air is not under threat.
The show “Envy” (Kıskanmak) is one of the most anticipated premieres of the new season. All the more disappointment the producers must have felt, given that the figures so far are far from impressive. Still, the start of a broadcast does not mean much; the subsequent trend will determine everything.
The show “Eyes the Color of the Black Sea” (Gözleri Karadeniz) lost 1.09% in Total and 0.95% in AB. This drop is very sharp and promises nothing good for the project. If the situation does not improve in the coming weeks, ATV will make the harshest decisions up to canceling the show, since it still has no “safety cushion” and has not yet been sold abroad in sufficient volume.
The show “The Fall of The King” (Kral Kaybederse) lost 0.02% in Total and 0.30% in AB. The numbers are rather disappointing, but the project still managed to retain its audience in Total. Considering producer Onur Güvenatam’s special relationship with the management of Star TV, it is possible that the show will be given a chance to “pick up speed” in the new season.
The show “Bahar” (Bahar) lost 0.57% in Total and 1.22% in AB. This seems to be a clear signal from the viewers that the project should not have moved on to a third season. Given that Show TV, now under full state control, is about to undergo significant restructuring and policy changes, it is quite possible the show will make an early finale.
