Friday’s ratings brought Turkish viewers a new show, “I Am Her Mother” (Ben Onun Annesiyim), which had a rather weak start in both categories. The fate of the project will be decided next week — it urgently needs to grow its audience, otherwise cancellation will follow very quickly.

The show “This Sea Will Overflow” (Taşacak Bu Deniz) increased by 2.58% in Total and by 0.89% in AB. It seems that Black Sea dramas continue to enjoy immense popularity among Turkish viewers and have, to some extent, become Ulaş Tuna Astepe’s signature genre. For the rest of Friday’s shows, this is a formidable rival that will surely give them a headache.

The show “Cranberry Sherbet” (Kızılcık Şerbeti) lost 0.60% in Total and 0.77% in AB. The audience’s fatigue is beginning to show, as viewers grow increasingly confused by the tangled family drama of the Ünal family — and the arrival of a new potential hit doesn’t help. Still, the project maintains its loyal viewership and will certainly make it to the end of the season.
