Şifanur Gül will play the leading role in the series Sumud, one of the new projects of TRT Tabii’s digital platform. The series is produced by Cinapex and directed by Doğan Ümit Karaca. Filming will take place in Midyat and its surroundings.
The story follows a surgeon named Melisa, who grew up in New York. She suddenly learns that her real father is a Palestinian doctor, a revelation that sends her on a journey to discover her roots and dedicate herself to helping the Palestinian people.
Negotiations are ongoing for the role of Oğuz, Melisa’s partner. Filming of the ten-episode series will begin in November and last eight weeks. The script is written by Uhud Tekin, Abdüsselam Durmaz, and M. Ali Çakmak, with İsa Yıldız as the concept creator.

The premiere date has been announced for Show TV’s new drama Fertile Lands, produced by Süreç Film. The project’s director and supervising writer is Yağız Alp Akaydın, with Hasan Tolga Pulat, Ozan Ağaç, and Seçil Çömlekçi also contributing to the script.
The cast includes Engin Akyürek, Gülsim Ali, Belçim Bilgin, Yiğit Koçak, Sarp Akkaya, İlayda Akdoğan, Zehra Kelleci, Hakan Çelebi, Bahar Süer, Gözde Demirtaş, Ekrem Şen, and Mert Özbek.
The premiere will air on Sunday, November 2, on Show TV.

Yaren Yapıcı has joined the cast of the series B.R.A.T., produced by OGM Pictures. The series will air on ATV.
The story follows a compassionate surgeon named Doğan, who once turned his back on the wealthy Hancıoğlu family and now works at a state hospital on the Aegean coast.
The leading roles are played by Kenan İmirzalioğlu (as Doğan) and Afra Saraçoğlu (as lawyer Çağla Öncü). Yaren Yapıcı will portray a young woman named Gülsüm. The series will be directed by Taylan Biraderler and Murat Aksu, with the script written by Eylem Canpolat, Deniz Gürlek, Melih Özyılmaz, and Melek Seven. The premiere of Abi is scheduled for late November.
