The new show “Suspicious” (Sakıncalı ) made its debut this Wednesday and started fairly well in both categories. Of course, first-episode results rarely determine a project’s long-term future, but they do offer hope that it may find its footing on Turkish television.

The show “Eşref’s Dream” (Eşref Rüya) increased by 0.72% in Total but dropped by 0.24% in AB. Producer Timur Savcı’s project remains the dominant leader of Wednesday nights, holding strong ratings deep into its second season. Since a third season is not planned, the story is moving at a brisk pace, which helps maintain its high performance.

The show “The Defenseless” (Sahipsizler) rose by 0.36% in Total and 0.30% in AB. Producer Onur Güvenatam’s show continues to hold its audience steadily, without relying on AB — a wise decision, given that educated and affluent viewers increasingly shift to digital platforms, making AB less reliable as a primary target.

The show “The Ottoman: Orhan” (Kuruluş Orhan) lost 0.74% in Total and 0.30% in AB. For now, producer Mehmet Bozdağ’s project cannot boast the strong results of his previous historical hits. However, it’s worth remembering that “Resurrected Ertuğrul” also had modest numbers in its first season and became a hit only in its second — so nothing is lost yet.
