A new show, “Like a Dream” (Rüya Gibi), made its debut this Tuesday and started fairly well in both categories. Of course, its fate will be determined by the coming weeks — Turkish viewers can easily “withdraw their vote of confidence” — but for now the newcomer looks promising and has growth potential.

The show “Mehmed the Conqueror” (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı) rose by 0.70% in Total and 0.60% in AB. The TRT1 production remains stable and continues its successful third-season run. With such a loyal audience, a fourth season is certainly a possibility.

The show “Envy” (Kıskanmak) increased by 1.03% in Total and 1.38% in AB, once again giving its fans a glimmer of hope. Producer Kerem Çatay’s project constantly walks a fine line, but it is hard not to root for it.

The show “The Fall of the King” (Kral Kaybederse) rose by 0.35% in Total and 0.86% in AB. As the project nears its finale, the pacing has noticeably accelerated — and the audience reacted immediately, once again proving that the Achilles’ heel of Turkish dramas is excessively stretched episodes.

The show “Eyes the Color of the Black Sea” (Gözleri Kara Deniz) lost 0.08% in Total and 0.22% in AB. One can only marvel at the persuasion skills of the show’s producers, who somehow manage to convince the channel to keep the project on air despite such low AB numbers.
