The show “Mehmed the Conqueror” (Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı) rose by 0.30% in Total and 0.76% in AB. The state-channel production has maintained stable ratings for three seasons and appears likely to remain on air for a long time. Given how expensive historical series have become to produce, this is excellent news for fans of the genre.
The show “Envy” (Kıskanmak) lost 0.16% in Total and 0.93% in AB. Producer Kerem Çatay’s project once again makes its followers nervous. Whether it will secure financing after the New Year, when advertising contracts are renegotiated between channels and production companies, remains uncertain.
The show “Like a Dream” (Bir Rüya Gibi) lost 0.03% in Total and 0.49% in AB. Losing audience already in its second episode is almost a guaranteed death sentence for any project, even when the Total drop is minimal. Sadly, it seems the fate of this show is already sealed.
The show “Eyes the Color of the Black Sea” (Gözleri Kara Deniz) grew by 0.36% in Total and 0.11% in AB. Despite the slight improvement, the project has no real chance of remaining on air after the New Year with such low AB numbers.
The show “The Fall of the King” (Kral Kaybederse) ended its run, rising by 0.26% in Total but dropping by 0.27% in AB. Despite its disappointing ratings, producer Onur Güvenatam’s project will remain memorable thanks to Halit Ergenç’s outstanding performance, once again confirming that he is an exceptional actor capable of portraying any character with depth and mastery.
