Once upon a time in Çukurova is a new superhit?

The most awaited premiere of this autumn is the TV series of ATV channel and TV company TIMS&B Once upon a time in Çukurova / Bir Zamanlar Çukurova.

The show will premiere on September 6 on the ATV channel. The series will be a competitor to such projects as Our Story, Courtyard, Mehmetçik Kut’ül Amare and The Fight.

One of the biggest stars of the Turkish screen Vahide Perçin returns to the screens in the role of Hyunkar Yaman. The producer Timur Savci will pay the actress 100 thousand Turkish liras per episode. This time, the actress will appear in the role of a powerful and wealthy woman who will do anything to protect her son’s reputation.

The leading female role in the series will be played by Hilal Altinbilek, known for the previous works in the series Karagul and the movie Children are entrusted to you, where she played together with Engin Engin Akyürek. Murat Ünalmış and Uğur Güneş will fight for the heart of her heroine.

The series has been shot for six months already, which is very unusual for Turkish television, where shooting usually goes in parallel with the release of the series on the air.

The script of the series is based on the famous film of Terrence Malick “Days of Heaven” – Oscar and Cannes Film Festival winner.
