On December 14, 2018, the first Turkish-American series on the Netflix streaming platform “The Protector” with Çağatay Ulusoy, Hazar Ergüçlü, Ayça Ayşin Turan, Okan Yalabık, Mehmet Kurtuluş and Yurdaer Okur in the main roles simultaneously was launched in 190 countries. The series immediately attracted the attention of an international audience, becoming one of the most popular projects of Netflix.

Filming of the two seasons will start as soon as possible. The release of the third and fourth seasons is expected in 2020.
