Netflix spoke about his plans for the Turkish market
Currently, the Netflix Labs Day 2019 event is taking place in Los Angeles, in which a limited number of journalists from all over the world can take part. As part of this exercise, Netflix shares with the press information about his plans for the future.
In particular, Turkish journalists managed to talk with Greg Peters, Netflix’s chief product director. Mr. Peters noted that the Internet platform is extremely pleased with the results of the first US-Turkish series The Protector and believes that there are great opportunities for Turkish producers to work together.
As Mr. Peters stated, in spite of the fact that the second series of the company in the Turkish market will also be fantastic, they do not want to repeat themselves, therefore they plan to release series of various genres in the future, including comedies and dramas. In the future, the range of genres will be significantly expanded. Cooperation with Turkish producers will become more intensive.
Netflix also places great hopes on interactive projects. The platform intends to significantly increase their number and provide an opportunity for producers from different countries to tell their stories in this format. We will remind that earlier it was already rumored that the third and fourth seasons of the series The Protector may be filmed exactly in an interactive format.
