Producer Türker İnanoğlu, best known for serials The Second Spring / Ikinçi Bahar and Foreign Son-in-law / Yabanci Damat, acquired the rights to adapt the famous novel of the Egyptian writer, Nobel Prize winner Naguib Mahfouz, who is called Balzac of the Middle East, “Beginning and End”.

The story of the series will take place in the 80s of the last century in Turkey (in the book, the action takes place in Egypt). Also, he acquired the rights to other works of the author, in particular to the famous “Pension Miramar”, however, whether the Turkish scriptwriters will be able to adapt this work is still unknown.
