The fourth and final season will be released at the end of the year.
It is also known that Çağatay Ulusoy is preparing his own film, where he acts not only as an actor, but also as a director and scriptwriter. He announced this news personally, however, without specifying when exactly the work on the project will begin. The Turkish press first stated that the shooting should start in November, and then gave the information that the shooting was postponed indefinitely. The truth is that the young director agreed with the authorities of the town Kirklareli where the film “Free Goldfinch” will be shot, however, the start date of the shooting was not announced, so whether the work was postponed or everything is going according to the plan is still not known.
However, the main news of recent weeks in the Turkish media is a significant increase of the weight of the actor, who, according to Turkish journalists, should add 30 kilograms for the new role of the famous wrestler Koca Yusuf. We remind you that the information that Çağatay should play in the movie about the life of one of the most famous Turkish athletes appeared in the press two years ago before starting work on the series Hakan Muhafiz / The Protector.
At the end of the filming of The Protector, the journalists claimed that shooting of the Great Yusuf movie would begin shortly. According to the very respected publication, Hürriyet, the Brazilian actress Jessica May, known for the TV show New Bride became the co-star of Çağatay Ulusoy in the film. The producer of the picture is Ihsan Karademir, who also produced the famous series The Valley of the Wolves and the Bandits. Director Murat Saraçoğlu worked on the series Karagul and The Bitter Lands. Filming will begin in March.
However, a few hours after the publication of information in the press, the manager of Çağatay Ulusoy Engin Aykanat left the following message on Twitter “Very creative news. Let’s do another”. The message was also retweeted by the PR manager of the agency of Engin Aykanat. It was so ambiguous that many took it for confirmation of the news, however, rather it is an irony, more like a refutation. However, Engin did not give a direct refutation, and this implies that some information is still true, and he cannot refute the whole news. So where are the journalists wrong? The film about Koca Yusuf is most likely really being prepared, this information has been known for two years and has never been refuted by the actor’s manager. Perhaps the journalists made a mistake about in the producer or the director? Or, even more likely, they made a mistake with a co-star. This is not the first time that the Turkish press invents the co-stars of Çağatay, but then the information happens to be false.
We can only wait for information from official sources, which most likely will not take long, judging by the activity of the manager and PR manager of the actor.
