Dilan Çiçek Deniz in the new Spanish-Turkish TV series
The creator of the famous series The Magnificent Century Timur Savci begins preparations for the shooting of the new Spanish-Turkish project. The star of the series Çukur will be the leading lady of the new show. However, an atmosphere of strict secrecy reigns around this series. What do we know now?
On October 15 last year, at the media content exhibition in Cannes, TIMS & B Productions and one of the largest TV companies in Spain, Plano a Plano, signed a contract of cooperation. We remind you that according to the journalist Sina Kologlu, the first joint project will consist of two seasons of 10 episodes, 50 minutes each. He claims the series is being prepared for Netflix. However, sources in social networks suggest that the show may be sold to the Turkish digital platform Blu TV.
According to journalist Birsen Altuntas, Dilan Çiçek Deniz will be the female protagonist of the series, and the script is written by Ethem Ozisik, known from previous works in the series Poyraz Karayel and The Oath / Soz. We remind you that he also works on the script for the series Maraşlı. However, Ms. Birsen did not specify whether it was the same project or was Ozisik working on two scenarios at the same time.
The Turkish press joyfully notes that now Dilan will become an international star, as she will work in an international project. However, it is surprising that the name of the actress who is little familiar to foreign viewers and is unlikely to attract their attention at the stage of advertising a new product was announced first. Either the creators of the series have not yet signed a contract with a leading male star who may cause interest in the Spanish audience, or the contract has long been signed, but so far they cannot officially announce the name of the leading actor, since he has other obligations.
Who will star of the first Spanish-Turkish series? Will the series be released on Netflix or on another digital platform? Will it be Maraşlı series or another project? We have a lot of questions that we hope to get an answer in the near future.
