Since there is only one international digital platform in Turkey at the moment, then, of course, we are talking about Netflix, although they didn’t name it. Moreover, the leading actor of the project is already known: this is Çağatay Ulusoy, who is a Netflix star. The producers were looking for a suitable co-star for him.
However, the star of the series Hakan Muhafiz / The Protector, who gained great fame abroad thanks to his work with Netflix, rejected Serenay Sarıkaya. As Çağatay explained, Serenay is too tarnished by her relationship with Cem Yilmaz, and the Turkish audience is negative about the actress, so his career could also be hurt if he agrees to work with her again. Moreover, Çağatay made it clear that he would never again star in projects with Serenay. The producers did not insist and began to search for a suitable candidate for the main female role, who will become Çağatay’s co-star in this project.
