After two months of almost complete absence of new TV shows on Turkish air, viewers are finally happy with the good news. Work on the set begins. In a few weeks they will see a new romantic comedy “Knock on my door” starring Kerem Bursin and Hande Erçel!
Fox TV channel and MF Yapım TV company known for their TV shows Mother, Woman, and Miraculous Doctor, announce the start of work on a new summer series, Knock on my door / Sen Çal Kapımı, starring Hande Erçel and Kerem Bürsin. The director is Ender Mihlar. Filming will begin in Istanbul in June.
This will be a romantic comedy about the love of flower girl Eda Yildiz and Serkan Bolat, who just returned to Turkey after studying abroad. Serkan offers Eda to pretend that they are supposedly engaged in exchange for a scholarship. At first, the girl didn’t like the fake groom and she refuses but then the circumstances change, and she will be forced to accept this game. Then fake love turns into passionate feelings, as it should be in a romantic comedy.
Recall that previously it was announced that Hande Erçel will also star in the series Unfinished Circle of Love / Yarım Kalan Aşklar Dairesi along with Ali Atay and Burak Deniz. However, due to the coincidence of the shooting schedule, the actress had to leave this project. The official Instagram account of the show reported that she did it of her own free will and wished her good luck in the new series.
Thus, in the summer, Hande will completely concentrate on working in the series Knock on my door. She has already met her future co-star Kerem Bürsin, telling reporters that he is a very nice and pleasant person. She can’t wait to start filming. In turn, Kerem himself was very pleased with the acquaintance, saying that Hande was simply incredible. He hopes that everything will work out and the project will be very cool.
After two months of quarantine, Turkish viewers really missed the TV shows and there is hope that this project will be a great success. Moreover, the couple looks perfect, the actors are suited to each other.
