4 summer Turkish series 2020

The summer television season in Turkey is always characterized by the presence of light romantic comedies. This time the audience will be offered four novelties to entertain them in anticipation of the main autumn-winter season. What TV shows are we going to watch in the next couple of weeks?

Ah, youth / Gençliğim Eyvah starring Elif Dogan, Ekin Mert Daymaz and Burak Tozkoparan. It will premiere on June 15. A typical Turkish comedy of two kebab owners who found their illegitimate children. Sworn enemies are forced to unite to hide this glaring fact from their wives. Given the special love of the Turkish viewer for such simple stories, the project will certainly be noticed….

Mr. Wrong / Bay Yanlış starring Can Yaman and Ozge Gurel. It will premiere on June 26. This is a romantic comedy that tells the story of the owner of the bar Özgür, who does not believe in love. Ezgi is a girl who is unlucky in a relationship, so she decides to find the right person and finally get married. Özgür, who sees Ezgi’s unsuccessful attempts to find a groom, decides to help the girl and becomes her mentor. Given that the series features actors loved by foreign viewers, it is likely that it will become a hit outside Turkey.

Knock on my door / Sen Çal Kapımı starring Kerem Bursin and Hande Erçel. It will premiere on July 1. This is the love story of flower girl Eda Yildiz and rich businessman Serkan Bolat. Serkan suggests that Eda pretends that they are engaged in exchange for a scholarship. Of course, fake love will eventually turn into passionate feelings. Given that the story is quite commonplace, the success or failure of the project will depend on the correct scenario and the excellent interaction of the main characters, the very notorious chemistry of the co-stars.

Love in the Attic / Çatı Katı Aşk starring Furkan Andiç, Ezgi Senler, Yigit Kirazci and Nilay Deniz. It will premiere on July  9. The producer of the series Banu Akdeniz promises a sweet story in which there will be no villains, but there will be a lot of humor. It starts on the day when two foreign guests appear in a large Turkish family. Of course, they will find in Turkey not only adventures, but also great love.
