Why can’t Kadir Doğulu and Burak Özçivit be friends?

In a recent interview, Kadir Doğulu stated that he had never been friends with Burak Özçivit. He and his wife Neslihan Atagül did not invite Burak and Fahriye Evcen to the wedding and did not receive invitation from them.

The reason is very trivial and has nothing to do with enmity or jealousy or anything like that. For some reason, audiences believe that actors, if they work together, should either be best friends or enemies. But neither is true. Yes, he and Burak worked well together in the series Little Mysteries / Küçük Sırlar and Kadir was happy with the cooperation, but the friendship did not happen. They are too different persons. Burak loves football, Kadir is indifferent to football, they have no common themes to talk about, so there is no friendship.

But when they meet, they treat each other with great respect, because Burak is one of the nicest and kindest people in Turkey. That’s pretty much it.

It will be recalled that for a very long time Kadir Doğulu’s alleged jealousy towards his wife’s co-star in the series Endless Love / Kara Sevda was discussed in the Turkish press. However, this information was not substantiated. Burak and Neslihan didn’t even talk to each other outside the set. The fantasies of the shows’ fans who wished to see their favorite actors together in real life were completely in vain. Neslihan and Burak are loyal to their spouses in real life  and do not have affairs on the side.
