The Turkish state intends to support Deniz Bulutsuz

Taking into account the great public resonance and the indicative nature of the future trial, the Ministry of Family Affairs and Social Policy applied to the court with a petition to act as one of the parties in the case of Deniz Bulutsuz v. Ozan Güven.

The state intends to support the victim Deniz Bulutsuz legally and morally, acting on the side of the prosecution. If the court accepts the request, the Ministry will cover all future costs associated with the process. It will also provide lawyers who will conduct their own investigation against Ozan Güven, trying to obtain evidence of his guilt. Recall that Ozan Güven faces a prison term of 13.5 years on charges of beating his beloved and forcibly keeping her in a house.
