After outrages on social media and the press that a 15-year-old girl won the Best Model of Turkey competition, its organizer Erkan Özerman made a special statement, claiming that there are no age restrictions in the world to participate in such competitions. Girls and boys under the age of 18 who wish to try themselves on the podium must provide written permission from the family. After that, Mr. Özerman showed a notarized permission, which was issued by the family of the winner of this year’s competition Melisa İmrak.
