Summer 2021 TV series: who will be the winner?

Summer 2021 promises to present fans of Turkish TV series with some exciting duels. What projects will be faced on the Turkish air this summer?

Each summer presents Turkish audiences with several romantic comedies that must withstand a fierce competition with competitors. Typically, only one summer season series survives this fierce race, all others fall prey to the ruthless rating system. We already know the dates of the premieres of some summer projects.

The series Glass ceilings / Cam Tavanlar starring Bensu Soral and Kubilay Aka, which is scheduled to premiere on June 9, will try to win the hearts of Turkish viewers in a difficult struggle with the series Love is in the air / Sen Çal Kapımı. From June 9th the project of Hande Erçel and Kerem Bürsin will also be released on Wednesdays.

The series Recipe for Love / Aşkın Tarifi starring Kadir Dogulu and Serra Ariturk will air on Monday, June 7, a week ahead of its rival series My Dad is a Hero / Kahraman Babam starring Görkem Sevindik and Nilay Deniz. It is notable that Görkem Sevindik’s series was originally released in April as Red Truck, but after a rather cool reception from Turkish viewers, its concept was changed, and the show would be launched again on June 14.

The series Game for Fortune / Baht Oyunu starring Aytaç Şaşmaz and Cemre Baysel will start on Tuesday, June 15, becoming a competitor to the TV series Tale of the Island / Ada Masalı starring Alp Navruz and Ayça Ayşin Turan. By the way, Tale of the Island is considered by many as the main contender for the title of the hit of the summer television season, because the project is being prepared by the largest television company Ay Yapim, besides, very popular actors are involved in it.

We do not yet know the dates of the premiere of the TV series Trouble on my head / Baş Belası starring İrem Helvacıoğlu and Seçkin Ozdemir, Heart wound / Kalp Yarası starring Gökhan Alkan and Yağmur Tanrısevsin, Love Logic Revenge / Aşk Mantık İntikam starring Burcu Özberk and İlhan Şen and Love by chance / Kazara Aşk starring Ümit Kantarcılar and Sude Zülal Güler. It looks like we have some interesting confrontations ahead of us.
